Reading CC offers support for members looking to develop their skills, techniques and fitness. For those new to group cycling, it could be about improving your bike handling skills and gaining confidence riding in a group. Or you might be looking to try your hand at some racing, already be racing and want to improve your fitness, or just want to ride faster and further. Whatever it is, there is a wealth of experience to draw upon within the club covering all cycling disciplines and a British Cycling Level 2 qualified club coach to offer advice and assistance.
Visits to indoor velodromes for coached track sessions for club members are arranged from time to time, as are club sessions at our local Palmer Park track. As a club, we are keen to encourage and support members looking to develop and to help them achieve their cycling goals. Appropriate coaching sessions and training rides can be arranged where required so please get in touch if you have any particular sessions you would like to see.
